More about Jacinda Ratcliffe:

A 2021 recipient of the Make A Wave Grant through 3Arts, Ratcliffe is an actor, dancer, Jeff-nominated Choreographer & Movement Director, and model based in Chicago.

Ratcliffe is an ensemble member with Lucky Plush Productions where she originated roles in Curb Candy (Harris Theater) and Rink Life (Steppenwolf 1700). The latter has toured nationally to various cities, notably Sonoma, California; Maui & The Big Island, Hawaii; The Yard at Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusettes; New York City, New York. She has additionally danced as a company member with Winifred Haun & Dancers and as an apprentice with Project Bound Dance.

Recent performing credits include PORTAL (Lookingglass Theatre), GET OUT ALIVE (Haven Theatre and California Center for the Arts Escondido), WALK WITH LITTLE AMAL “Drift to Sleep” (Chicago International Puppeteer Theater Festival), “Right Here” (Lucky Plush Productions), Hidden Note (produced by Wardlaw Productions), Winner (produced by Nick DiMaso) and Happy Songs About Unhappy Things (produced by Jamie Foxx and Datari Turner). Upcoming productions include THE LOVE OBJECT (The Story Theatre) and THE CABINET (Cabinet of Curiosity).

Dance film performance credits including Press On, Regardless (Dance for Life); Limelight Parade (Art on theMART, Merchandise Mart); Navy Pier Virtual Celebration (Navy Pier); I Am… Bold, Bald, Beautiful (TedX); Happy Returns (Harris Theatre). She has additionally performed as an actor in several short films and commercials across the midwest.

She is on faculty at the Actor’s Gymnasium and Chicago Movement Collective, the latter of which she also serves as Collective Manager & sits on the Board of Directors.

Ratcliffe graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Dance and Psychology. Upon graduating, she studied on scholarship at Lou Conte Dance Studio, under Claire Bataille. She received additional dance training through intensives with The Washington School of Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Ballet Hispánico, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She has performed works of choreographers including Goh Choo San, Alex Ketley, Robert Moses, Michelle Manzanales, Robyn Mineko Williams, Terence Marling, Alejandro Cerrudo, and William Forsythe.

She is represented by Big Mouth Talent.
